How to use AI to re-write your resume

Even harder when the words you choose determine how much money someone will give you.

So much of what we earn comes down to how well these documents are positioned.

Luckily, Andrew Bolis, (AI and Marketing Consultant with $190M in attributed revenue) recently put together a guide for writing a killer resume using AI.

This is his framework and 10 resume writing prompts:

Prompt 1 - Deep Dive Into Achievements

I have experience in [Field] with a focus on [Specific Area]. Here are some bullet points describing my accomplishments in past roles: [List Accomplishments]. Rewrite bullet points to quantify achievements with metrics and data.

Prompt 2 - Uncover Transferable Skills

I'm moving from [Previous Field] to [Desired Field], with a resume focused on [Previous Skills]. Help identify transferable skills for the [Desired Job Title] and reframe my past accomplishments for this new field. Here’s my resume [Paste Resume].

Prompt 3 - Craft a Compelling Summary

Prompt 4 - Tailor Your Experience

Prompt 5 - Brainstorm Powerful Action Verbs

Prompt 6 - Quantify Volunteer Work

Prompt 7 - Highlight Soft Skills through Examples

Prompt 8 - Optimize Keywords Throughout

Prompt 9 - Craft a Compelling Cover Letter
